I am a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist from Derry, Ireland. Since graduating with First-Class Honours in filmmaking specialising in production design, I have worked on several independent productions, while continuing to develop my craft as a painter and an artist. Alongisde this, I have been working as a Production Design lecturer for the Northern Film School at Leeds Beckett University.

Creative Production Experience
Howl & the Hum, ‘Same Mistake Twice' Director, Producer & Production Designer Music Video
2024
- Managing a production crew of 20 people, set runners, Art department and Cinematography team, editors, sound editors and band of 5 people.
-Developing pre-production and managing a production budget of £5000. 4 Month pre-production, 1 day
- 12-hour shoot, including loading and wrapping. -Location Scouting, securing a working men’s club- Caroline Club in Saltaire. Producing documents for location release and contracts.
-Creating creative packages, prop designs, set build designs and costume designs for funding packages through independent music labels and funders.
-Liaising with Stewart Baxter for production shooting, as well as an album cover shoot. Securing and setting up Cardigan arms for 1 day shoot, outside of the music video.
-Designed and made props and graphics for bar pump signs, posters, newspapers. Mask- main mask for character development, making sure it was safe and secure for client to wear when performing.
-Co-directed, script writer and designer for music video. -Organized Van hire and Cine equipment worth £50k through Pro Vision
The Reckoning of Erin Morrigan Production Designer
Feature Film
2022-2023
-Managing multiple art department teams throughout the course of a year. From work experience students to industry professionals
-Developing and managing pre-production for art department, with a final budget of £20,000
-International location scouting, from an Irish cottage & Barn in Malin Head (most northernly point of Ireland), to local farms in Yorkshire. Liasing with Northern Film School to build 5 sets within their facilities. -Within 3 months, built 5 sets, Irish cottage, Barn, Bedroom x2, Hallways. Liaised with caprenter and developed detail technical drawings alongside Sketch Up plans.
-Location adaption- created fields with fake flowers, deep graves, dressed and set an Irish cottage, barn and beach in Ireland.
-Daily packing, orgnaisng and unlodaing gear/ equipment and props. -Designed the hair, make up and costumes, colour pallettes and visual stories of every character on the screen, from main actress to IRA men in the background.
-Sourced vintage cars, Crow, (was in Game of Thrones)/ animal wrangler and armourer.
-Developed detailed plans for safety of crew alongside producers, such as fire safety and environmental safety. The production was a green space and all items were recycled, reused or sold after production ended instead of binned.
-Worked with acclaimed actress Olwen Flouere.
-Developed historical research for 6 months, designed and hand made props, graphics, sourced specific Irish materials such as literature, clothing and artifacts to highlight period in which film references- ‘The Troubles’, in Northern Ireland. Sourced personal artifacts from family members and local community in Derry (my hometown).

January-March 2019
-Helped develop graphics for 1 set, source and hire artists for art relevant to character
-Strip, paint and decorate set, within an old manor in Manchester city centre. 1 day turn around from start to finish.
-Liaise with graphics designer and help make graphic props, such as bottles and posters for shops.
-Access script and help develop ideas for character alongside production designer and art director.

-Lead artist on large scale installation including film, sound, ceramic sculpture and painting
-Fundraising and sourcing materials on a micro budget of £2,000
-Producing, directing and writing a short film, (shot in Ireland). Editor and liaising with sound engineers, producers and musicians.
-Developing 6 months of research on Irish folklore, history and storytelling.
-Managing a team of installation technicians, carpenters, artists and sound engineers.

-Designed a syllabus for students within Ba1-Ba3, Bachelor’s degree
- Produce multiple lectures about set and production design for film & TV
-Manage and lecture, 120 students per year
-Help students manage projects, 12 per year, 36 films/ projects in total -Produce budget breakdowns and source materials for students
-Teach technical skills from sketch up, history and prop making -Make sure students have a safe learning environment, comfortable and adaptable to their individual learning needs.
